55 apartments in 5 buildings equipped with humidity sensitive GHN exhaust units are connected to low-pressure VBP hybrid fans. Fresh air comes through humidity sensitive EMM air inlets.
A large scale field experiment called HR-VENT has been conducted in these buildings.

Exhaust units
By adjusting the airflow to the ambient relative humidity rate, the GHN humidity sensitive exhaust unit is the perfect solution for the natural ventilation of wet rooms. Directly replacing the old exhaust unit without modification of the hole, it fits perfectly into the environment of bathroom, toilets and kitchen. Its robust and reliable humidity sensitive sensor ensures optimum performance at all the times, with remarkable longevity.
Exhaust fans
Installed at the top of the ventilation ducts, the VBP hybrid fan enables to guarantee satisfactory airflow all year long on a former natural ventilation. By creating a complementary pressure when the additional natural draught is not sufficient as it may sometimes be the case in mid-season and summer, the VBP hybrid fan optimizes the working of natural ventilation, while keeping its dimensions (ventilation exhaust units and air ducts).
