A multi-functional extract unit to combine indoor air quality and energy efficiency.

The BXC gathers all the functions one can request from an air extract unit. At the installation first, as the airflow levels can be set to adapt to special airflow requirements or to compensate for a lack of pressure: a neutral position of the fixed shutter can be easily determined. The commissioning is also facilitated by the presence of a pressure plug which enables measurements and easy calculation of the airflow. The occupant can benefit from different functions (humidity sensitive, presence detection, switch) to adapt automatically the extract airflow. The boost airflow is activated in total silence: a new improved motor equips all the electrical versions (presence detection and switch). Its single part front cover ensures perfect colour homogeneity.

A settable and variable airflow to adapt to available pressure

The range of variable airflows can be set and increased at the installation, to adapt to special requirements or to compensate for a lack of pressure. The commissioning is also facilitated by the presence of a pressure plug which enables measurements and easy calculation of the airflow.

An always clean extract unit

The BXC extract unit maintenance is very easy: its removable case and grille can be directly washed in soap water.

For all ducts

Delivered in standard with a D 125mm spigot, BXC can also be equipped with a D 100mm spigot upon request to be compatible with the most common duct diameters.

Presence detection

The Eyebooster module is composed of a pyroelectric sensor detecting the convergent infra-red rays through a Fresnel lens. With a 4m ray and a 100 radius angle, the detection is optimal. The infra-red rays concentrated on the sensor are permanently analysed; as soon as a variation of radiation is perceived, a signal is transmitted to the electronic card, which analyses it then activates the motor controlling the opening of the extract unit shutters. An astute system has been designed to avoid over-detection in the WC notably when the door is open and someone passes in the corridor: the detection must be confirmed within 5 seconds to activate the airflow in the standard 'p' version. Another version ('pd' or 'hpd') uses a longer delay (60 seconds) to confirm the opening, which can be particularly usefull in the bathrooms equipped with WC, when people just wash their hands, and therefore do not have an high need for ventilation.
