According to Mrs. Gro Harlem Bruntdland, Norwegian Prime Minister in 1987, the sustainable development is "a development which meets the needs for the present without compromising the capacity of the future generations to answer to theirs own ". The modes of production and consumption must respect the human or natural environment and allow all inhabitants on Earth the satisfaction of their fundamental needs: food, a home, clothes, education, work, a life in a healthy environment...
Reducing greenhouse gases emissions by limiting heat losses
Thanks to innovative products designed to save energy in houses, Aereco contributes to the respect of the environment and to the reduction of the greenhouse gases emissions. With buildings being responsible for nearly 18% of the total production of greenhouse gases, mainly due to heating, it is easy to understand the considerable impact that the reduction of energy consumption thanks to optimization of air renewal in the house can have on the environment. For that reasons, the positive impact of the humidity sensitive ventilation system has been emphasized by several new building regulations.
French ADEME (Agency of the Environment and the Control of Energy) and Aereco joined forces to carry out various experiments - including the HR-VENT field study - intended to measure and promote ventilation systems having a positive impact on the reduction of the greenhouse gases emissions.
Improving indoor air quality
Beyond the energy aspect, everyone should benefit from a clean air, for health and comfort in the dwelling.
A well-designed ventilation system must guarantee an optimal air quality to its users: the pollution created in house by the human activity must be evacuated so as to ensure the healthiest possible breathing air. The modulated airflows provided by the Aereco systems automatically distribute the new air according to the needs in the various rooms, evacuate the pollution where it is created, and thus optimize the breathing air quality inside the dwelling.
